Hubbub is testing innovative, new ‘Big Ballot Bins’ in Manchester and Southampton in Summer 2023 as part of our #PickYourSide campaign in collaboration with KFC, Manchester City Council and Southampton City Council. 

The Big Ballot Bins were co-designed by Hubbub and Instrument Industries, the makers of the original Ballot Bin. They feature solar-powered electronic counters to show people have voted with their rubbish on a customisable question.

Environmental tech company Ellipsis Earth will be scientifically and independently measuring the impact of the bins on litter levels using cutting-edge AI tech.
